I have been a patient at this surgery for 32 years and at the age of 59, I have never contacted them for anything trivial, like colds, Flu or Arthritis or anything that I can get by with on my own..... Dr Jose' Bajen has treated me over the years for a slipped disc, Stress/ Depression and for things like bereavement, and recently Gastritis, and always listens to you fully, giving expert advice and reassurance.. he is 100% compassionate and I sometimes hold back on my concerns for myself because Dr Bajen is a human being too and sometimes I don't want to add to his stress either?? I really don't know how he does it ?? He is the best doctor ever!!.. I don't think Dr Bajen or the staff at Rochford Medical Practice can improve on what they are doing because you cannot improve on perfection!! Jim D.

I work full time and find it hard to get to the surgery, but the recepionist always give you time and choice so that i can still see my GP. They prioritise fairly and all the staff from Recepionist to GPs and nurses all treat us patients with dignaty and respect.

Mostly the staff are lovely (there is one receptionist who is very difficult to deal with & seems to enjoy making life difficult) if you get another receptionist they always do their absolute best. However, its virtually impossible to get follow up appointments to fit in to my life - I rarely go to doctor because I'm sick - only to review regular meds or for checks so don't want to take time out of work for this. The phone can be engaged all morning / afternoon & when you get through all the appts are gone!!!! Its frustrating especially when you're told you should call at certain times (which I do) & you still can't get through.

Not as easy to get an appointment as it used to be. I think this is because there are less Doctors available in recent months. Still an excellent surgery though
